Dr. Steven T. Breslawski, GBDC Treasurer




Dr. Steven T. Breslawski is a 1978 graduate of the Brockport Central School district. He earned his B.S. in Accounting, MBA, and Ph.D. in Management Science and Systems at the University of Buffalo.

After beginning his career teaching in the Department of Computer Information Systems at Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Breslawski returned to Brockport with his wife, Kim (a native of Amherst, N.Y.), to begin a family. They have two daughters now attending college.

Dr. Breslawski is employed by the College at Brockport, State University of New York, where he is an associate professor in the business program and Chair of the Department of Business Administration. He has been highly engaged in strategic planning, program assessment and accreditation initiatives in the business school. Dr. Breslawski teaches quantitative and computer-based management courses and is a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. His research interests include the use of computers and mathematics to improve business decision making as well as issues associated with student motivation and learning.

Dr. Breslawski joined the GBDC Board of Directors as its Treasurer in June 2013. In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, flower gardening, and boats of all types.
