Terry Carbone, GBDC Board Member




Terry Ann Carbone is a 42-year veteran of the education field, a real plus for a community such as Greater Brockport which boasts a strong Education sector.

Terry spent 25 years of her career with the Lockport City School District, including having served as its Superintendent from 2006 until her retirement in the fall of 2011. Prior to that, she was principal of Lockport High School and John Pound, Charlotte Cross and Washington Hunt elementary schools. She has also been the director of the district's elementary education and research and development.

Terry joined the GBDC Board of Directors in WHEN and in May 2013 was elected its Secretary. As a retired school superintendent, Terry's goal is to continue to make a difference in public education across New York State. She's married to Fred Carbone and has X adult children and X grandchildren.
